Earth & Stars: Aroma for Embodied Transformation is a collaboration between Ash Sierra of Ritual Botanica and artist Alexis Elton. The limited edition sets of hand crafted botanical medicine are intended to deepen, empower and guide our embodied & intuitive connection to the natural world, both terrestrial and celestial, through plants & their aromas. Each set includes various items from each maker, what arrives in your hands is a mystery to explore. A percentage of profit from each box will be donated to an organization that supports abortion access & aftercare.

Scent Maps
Scent Maps are an experiential, multi-sensory interactive invitation to connect with the natural world through aromatics. They are part of an ongoing exploration of place and an extension of my creative practice. Each box contains a collection of scents gathered and created around specific themes and locations. Each box contains a group of hydrosols or steam distillations that are infused with the essence of a particular plant and therefore reflect the location and climate in which they grow. Through our noses, these hydrosols invite a visceral sensory experience, open pathways for traveling into our own time and memory.

The five hydrosols include: Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), Multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora), Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica), Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) and Japanese Stiltgrass (Microstegium vimineum).

Jupiter & Neptune conjunct in Pisces medicines
On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Jupiter met Neptune in the sign of Pisces for the first time since 1856, yes, it had been 166 years, this is rare! Neptune and Jupiter both govern (rule) Pisces, which means it’s their happy, at home, place to be. Very beneficial.
This alignment called in the dissolution of walls we had around our dreams, offering more abundance and ability to think big, outside our normal daily routine and mindsets.

Solid perfume: Crafted with hyssop, lotus, hyacinth, cistus, helichrysum, neroli, violet, tangerine, bees wax, almond, sesame and jojoba oils. The aroma is intended to dismantle rigidness and open us up to abundance and possibilities for our lives and the world at large. Aromatic medicine has the ability to bypass consciousness and work directly with the limbic system, which homes the amygdala and the hippocampus, the regions related to emotion and memory. I have found scent medicine to work very quickly in shifting thought patterns and taking us into deep meditate places when we allow it.
Spirit tincture: 4 different wines to honor Dionysus (Jupiter) - a red, white, rose and orange, of the best quality of course. At the start of the conjunction’s election time these were blended together distilled through a combination of passionflower blossoms, blue lotus flower, poppy seeds, chrysanthemum, amanita essence, tangerine peel and flower. The resulting spirit distillate is infused with these plants during the conjunction capturing all this in a clear, drop dose tincture.
As we head into the new moon in Leo on the 28th we will also have Jupiter begin its retrograde in Aries. Retrogrades can be like slingshots. While we are in them we take the space to step back, align with what our future targets are, takes the deep breathes and stillness and introspection to figure out what that might be. As we move out of the retrograde we release whatever wasn’t working and start our journey into what is.
