Embody is an aromatic anointing oil for returning to the body—for the moments after deep emotional work, meditation, ritual, or any experience that has left us feeling ungrounded or far from ourselves. Earthy, floral, and softly sweet, this blend brings together Ruh Khus and Rose Attar, joining the deep roots of vetiver with the tenderness of rose to support presence, grounding, and integration.
Ruh Khus (Vetiver) is distilled from the dense, fragrant roots of the vetiver grass, giving it an aroma that is profoundly earthy, cooling, and grounding. Its downward quality invites awareness out of the head and back into sensation, breath, weight, and contact with the ground. Rose Attar brings the heart into this return, offering warmth and tenderness as we come back into relationship with the body. Together, root and flower create a beautiful axis: ground beneath us, heart within us. Embodiment becomes the practice of inhabiting the whole of ourselves.
THE RITUAL
Anoint the soles of the feet, especially the balls of the feet, and take a moment to feel their contact with the ground. Breathe slowly and allow the aroma to accompany your attention back into the body—feet, breath, heart, sensation. All nine anointing points may also be used as part of a fuller practice. Reach for Embody after therapy, emotional processing, meditation, ritual, journeywork, or whenever you want to return more fully to your physical presence.
