7-day candles go by many names, novena candles, prayer candles, fixed candles. Fire is a tool of transformation, and candles are a great way to harness that element into your intentional work. 7-day candles are meant to be lit with the desired outcome in mind and burned continuously until they run out (usually 4-6 days, rarely 7, burn time also being a divination tool). However, leaving a lit candle in the house can be scary and ill-advised! I leave my candles in the sink if I step out or even sometimes while asleep. You can also just kept them lit while you are present, which can affect your spell but for safety sake, I must say *please do not leave lit candles unattended**
